Day At The Rink – Sunday February 15, 2026

It all started with a message from Kyle Shropshire…and it’s finally happening!

The doors of the Crystal Ice House in Crystal Lake, IL, will be opened to welcome all of you for a fun day of on-ice activities. We will have open skating and Curling! Also joining us will be Chicago’s “Original Voice of the National Anthem” Wayne Messmer, for photos, autographs, and to kick off the Event with his iconic singing of “The Star Spangled Banner”.

We will have three exhibition skating performances as well: Kyle Shropshire, The Chicagoland Ice Theater Inspirations, and Brooke Gewalt, fresh off her appearance at US Figure Skating Nationals in St. Louis, January 4-11, 2026.

Patty’s Snack Shack, located in the Crystal Ice House, is working on a special just for our attendees, so you can dine like Mason would!

For just $25 per person, you will help keep Mason’s Little Helper spirit alive at a place that he and his family have spent hours upon hours.

If you have watched the Winter Olympics and saw curling from a distance, here’s your chance to grab a broom and a stone and get some expert techniques from members of the United States National Curling Team!

We are working to bring even more to the Rink to make this Day At The Rink one of the most fun days you’ve ever spent in the cold.

Tickets are $25 per person (this will also include skates and skate aides, if needed)

This Level of Sponsorship is buying all the ice needed for our Event

  • Acknowledged as the Event’s headline sponsor
  • Company name/logo printed and displayed on banners inside Crystal Ice House. These will be visible to all attendees at the Event and other people at the Crystal Ice House.
  • Admission to the Event for 10 Guests
  • Company Name/logo in all marketing for the Event

This Level of Sponsorship is buying half of the ice needed for our Event

of ice on one Rink needed for our Event
